Nepal-Tibet Flood Death Toll Reaches 469, Over 1,300 Still Missing

Nepal police confirmed 469 deaths from the August 26 flash floods and landslides along the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river basins near the Nepal-Tibet border, with more than 1,300 people still unaccounted for. Experts say a glacier collapse may have triggered the disaster. The toll has tripled since initial reports of 157 bodies recovered two days earlier.
