West Point Fired Its Only Climate Scientist Over Teaching Ban, Lawsuit Claims

West Point fired Dr. Adam Kalkstein, its sole climate scientist, after he refused an order barring faculty from teaching that humans contribute to climate change. Kalkstein taught cadets for 17 years. He likened the ban to "teaching law without mentioning the constitution." His First Amendment lawsuit now awaits a federal court in New York.
