Alberta courts Meta data centre while regulator blocks project in Olds

Alberta welcomes Meta's proposed $13-billion data centre campus north of Edmonton, announced in July. But a provincial regulator — the body that oversees project approvals — rejected a separate data centre plan in Olds for being too close to homes.
