Forty Migrant Children Still Missing From UK Hotels, Three Years On

Forty unaccompanied asylum-seeking children remain missing from Home Office-run hotels, the UK Joint Committee on Human Rights reported on August 27, 2026. Of 472 children who disappeared, 432 have been found. The hotel use was ruled unlawful in 2023. The committee now demands quarterly updates on the search for those still unaccounted for.
