Amazon Triples Nvidia GPU Commitment to 3 Million

Amazon and Nvidia announced an expanded deal on August 26, 2026, adding 2 million GPUs — spanning Blackwell Ultra, Rubin, and Rubin Ultra architectures — to AWS data centers for 2027–2028 deployment. The order, revealed during Nvidia's earnings call, comes five months after Amazon's earlier 1 million-GPU purchase. Nvidia cited demand from AI labs, enterprises, startups, and governments that has exceeded expectations. Financial terms were not disclosed.
