Robotics AI startup Generalist hits $3B valuation with $200M extension

Generalist, founded in 2024 by ex-DeepMind researchers and a Boston Dynamics engineer, raised nearly $200 million in a Series B extension led by 8VC, reaching a $3 billion valuation. The extension comes two months after a $400 million Series B at a $2 billion valuation, bringing the round's total to $600 million. The company has disclosed only a few early customers and no revenue figures.
