NZ tops wealthy nations for adolescent suicide, UNICEF finds

Aotearoa has the highest adolescent suicide rate among high-income countries studied by UNICEF — nearly three times the average, youth mental health advocate Luca Zampese told a Porirua health forum. Mental Health Minister Matt Doocey said the government would start publicly reporting how quickly young people access mental health support.
