New Zealand has highest adolescent suicide rate among wealthy nations, UNICEF report finds

UNICEF's latest international report found Aotearoa has the highest adolescent suicide rate among the countries studied — almost three times the average for high-income nations, youth mental health advocate Luca Zampese told a Porirua health forum. Mental Health Minister Matt Doocey said the government would begin reporting how quickly young people access mental health support.
