Pie's Social Context Feed Drove a 5x Session Lift

In December 2025, Pie began showing which connections were attending a given event in its activity feed. Average session time rose from 2 minutes to 10. The Chicago-based social app, founded by Bonobos co-founder Andy Dunn with 300,000 users and $11.5 million raised, had been under-serving its existing social graph — social context, not event discovery, drove retention.
