Electric riding mower matches pro gas power at less than half the price
The Greenworks MaximusZ, an electric zero-turn riding mower at $8,799, produces 41 horsepower across five brushless motors — two hub motors for propulsion, three for a 54-inch cutting deck. That exceeds the Toro 6000 Series, a professional gas mower at $18,899. An 80V battery system with 56Ah total capacity covers four acres per charge.
