Judge lets prosecutors grill defence witness over hostile texts aimed at SMH journalist

Judge Glenn Walsh allowed prosecutors to cross-examine former 2GB broadcaster Jason Morrison using texts that called the Sydney Morning Herald and journalist Kate McClymont "pigs." Morrison, a defence witness at Alan Jones's indecent assault trial, denied tailoring his testimony to help Jones. McClymont's reporting had prompted alleged victims to come forward, triggering the police investigation.
