Australia's ARIA Bars AI-Generated Songs From Charts, May Strip Past Number-One Awards

Australia's ARIA has banned largely or wholly AI-generated songs from its charts. Releases must be "substantially human made," with artists declaring AI use at submission. ARIA may retrospectively strip chart positions and reclaim number-one awards. The rules, based on an IFPI directive, follow Sweden's similar ban earlier in 2025.
