Captive Video in Nigeria Suggests 600 Abducted — Far Above Police Count

An armed group posted footage on Facebook and WhatsApp showing roughly 600 women, children, and elderly people held under guard in a forest. They were seized during Friday prayers at a mosque in Dekara village, Niger State. Police had reported "over 60" taken. Residents identified captives in the video. Authorities have not commented.
