Oregon Mass Killing Suspect Dies by Suicide in Washington State

Benjamin Charles Parker, 36, was identified as the suspect in five homicides discovered Saturday at a rural home near Forest Grove, Oregon. Investigators found Parker dead in his vehicle in Enumclaw, Washington — about 260 miles away — and believe he died by suicide. Deceased domesticated animals were also found at the scene. Sheriff Caprice Massey called it the most complex scene in her 22-year tenure. Detectives do not believe the killings were random. Victim identities, causes of death, and any relationship to Parker remain undisclosed.
