Snooker Champion Graeme Dott Convicted of Child Abuse Dating to His World Title Year

Graeme Dott, 49, was convicted at Glasgow's High Court of sexually abusing two primary-school-age children — a girl from 1993 to 1996 and a boy from 2006 to 2010, the year he won the World Snooker Championship. Dott denied all charges, insisting there was "absolutely no way" he abused them. The jury rejected his denial. Sentencing has not yet been set.
