UK to Share Storm Shadow Missile Tech with Ukraine for Domestic Production

Prime Minister Andy Burnham announced on 24 August 2026 that the UK will let defence firm MBDA declassify British components of the Anglo-French Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missile, letting Ukraine build its own. France and Ukraine will set up local assembly lines. Ukraine shifts from donated munitions to licensed domestic production of long-range strike capability.
