Meta's AI Game-Generation App Pocket Reaches All US Users

Meta's Pocket app rolled out to all US users on August 20, 2026. Users generate interactive mini-games — called gizmos — via AI prompts, then share them on a scrollable social feed. Gizmos respond to touch and tilt, play sound effects, and can pull in camera-roll photos and song clips. Pocket launched in Brazil in July, built on Meta's acqui-hire of the Gizmo team.
