Meta Brings AI Game-Generation App Pocket to All US Users

Meta's Pocket app is rolling out to all US users as of August 20, 2026. Users generate interactive mini-games — called gizmos — through AI prompts and share them on a scrollable social feed. Gizmos respond to touch and tilt, play sound effects, and can incorporate camera-roll photos and song clips. Pocket first launched in Brazil in July, built on Meta's acqui-hire of the Gizmo team.
