Apple overhauls EU App Store fees: per-install charge dropped for tiered commissions

Apple will scrap its per-install Core Technology Fee in the EU on October 1, 2026, replacing it with tiered commissions: 26% on Apple in-app purchases, 20% on alternative in-app payments, 15% on external link purchases, and 5% on fully out-of-store transactions.
