Peacock Turns First Profit, Reaches 48 Million Subscribers, Then Raises Prices Again

Peacock posted its first-ever profit and 48 million subscribers, then announced its fourth price hike in four years. Starting August 18, Select rises to $8.99, Premium to $12.99, and Premium Plus to $19.99 monthly. The NBCUniversal streamer is preparing to spin off from Comcast next year and will soon bundle into YouTube Premium subscriptions.
