Peacock Makes Money for the First Time — Then Raises Prices
NBCUniversal's streaming service Peacock made its first-ever profit and reached 48 million paying subscribers, then raised prices for the fourth time in four years. Starting August 18, plans will cost $8.99, $12.99, or $19.99 per month. Peacock will split from its parent company Comcast next year and will soon be included with YouTube Premium subscriptions.
