Fired Prosecutor Sues Justice Department, Alleging Retaliation for FACE Act Cases

Sunita Doddamani, a former assistant U.S. attorney in Michigan, sued the Justice Department on August 17, 2026. She said she was fired without cause on April 13 for prosecuting eight anti-abortion activists under the FACE Act, a federal law protecting abortion access.
