Fired Lawyer Sues Justice Department

Sunita Doddamani, a former federal prosecutor in Michigan, sued the Justice Department on August 17, 2026. She said she was fired without cause on April 13 for prosecuting eight anti-abortion activists under a law protecting abortion clinics. The suit names Attorney General Todd Blanche and says her firing broke civil service rules and constitutional rights.
