SpaceX Closes $60B Deal for AI Coding Startup Cursor

SpaceX completed its $60 billion acquisition of AI coding startup Cursor on August 14, 2026. Cursor now joins SpaceXAI, formed by SpaceX's July merger with xAI. Announced in June, the deal targets enterprise AI tools and positions SpaceXAI against OpenAI and Anthropic in the coding-assistance market.
