Construction Crew Uncovers €9M Gold Cache Hidden in Belgian Cellar Wall

Renovation workers in East Flanders discovered gold coins and ingots worth roughly €9 million sealed inside a cellar wall and surrendered the find to police, calling it theft to keep it. The property belongs to CAW Oost-Vlaanderen, a welfare charity. A prosecutor is now investigating where the gold came from — and how it got there.
