Pony AI and Uber to Deploy 2,000+ Robotaxis in Europe

Pony AI and Uber will deploy over 2,000 robotaxis — driverless taxis using Pony.ai's autonomous driving software — across five European cities, the largest such rollout announced for the continent. Uber handles ride-hailing; the Guangzhou-based firm supplies the self-driving stack. Cities and timing were not disclosed. The plan extends an earlier Zagreb launch.
