Uber and Pony AI Plan Thousands of Self-Driving Taxis in Europe

Uber and Pony AI plan to put over 2,000 self-driving taxis on roads across five European cities — the continent's largest such announcement. The taxis drive themselves using Pony AI's software; Uber's app connects riders to them. The cities and timing were not disclosed. The plan builds on an earlier launch in Zagreb, Croatia.
