Trump-Backed Lindell Falls in Minnesota GOP Governor Primary

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell, endorsed by President Trump, lost Minnesota's Republican governor primary on Aug. 11, 2026, to state House Speaker Lisa Demuth, 59. The result was Trump's clearest primary loss across six states voting that day. Lindell had denied residency and abuse allegations raised during the race.
