Trump's Pick Mike Lindell Loses Minnesota Governor Race

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell, backed by President Trump, lost Minnesota's Republican primary for governor on Aug. 11, 2026. State House Speaker Lisa Demuth, 59, won instead. A primary is an election parties hold to pick their nominee. Lindell had denied residency and abuse claims raised during the race.
