Crowley Wins Wisconsin Democratic Primary for Governor, Will Face Tiffany in November

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley won Wisconsin's Democratic primary for governor August 11, 2026, narrowly defeating state Rep. Francesca Hong. Crowley, who paused then relaunched his campaign with Gov. Tony Evers' backing, will face Trump-endorsed U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany for the open seat. If elected, Crowley would be Wisconsin's first Black governor.
