Bragg's migration cap unsupported by Coalition frontbench
Shadow housing minister Andrew Bragg told the National Press Club he stands by a net overseas migration cap of 180,000 a year — below Treasury's forecast 225,000 by 2027-28. His colleagues aren't sold. Shadow treasurer Tim Wilson said don't bank on it. Nationals leader Matt Canavan ruled out cuts to rural workers. Leader Angus Taylor offered only "well below 200,000."
