Opportunity Party clears 5% threshold for first time, becomes kingmaker in 1News Verian poll

The Opportunity Party has polled above Parliament's 5 percent threshold for the first time, reaching 9 percent or 9 seats in a 1News Verian poll. The left bloc holds 59 seats and the right 57 — neither enough to govern. The party's 9 seats give the left 68; the right 66, if Luxon reverses his ruling-out of the party.
