First All-British Chocolate Bar Since 1932

Master's student Maha Khan has made the first chocolate bar entirely from British-grown cocoa beans since 1932, when Rowntree's gave one to a young Queen Elizabeth. Khan fermented and processed beans from Reading's cocoa quarantine centre, which safeguards 300+ cacao varieties and handles 97% of global cocoa plant movement. Only six bars exist.
