First All-British Chocolate Bar Since 1932 Made at University of Reading

Master's student Maha Khan has produced the first chocolate bar made entirely from British-grown cocoa beans since 1932, when Rowntree's gave one to the late Queen Elizabeth as a child. Khan harvested, fermented, and processed beans grown at Reading's cocoa quarantine centre, which holds over 300 cacao varieties and handles 97% of global cocoa plant movement. Only six bars exist so far.
