South Carolina Republicans Vote in Special Senate Primary

South Carolina Republicans held a special primary on Aug. 11, 2026, to pick a nominee for the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by Lindsey Graham's death on July 11. The appointed incumbent, Darline Graham — Graham's sister, backed by President Trump — faced Reps. Ralph Norman and Russell Fry. If no one wins a majority, a runoff is set for Aug. 25. The nominee advances to the Nov. 3 general election.
