FlightAware Sues Kalshi Over Flight-Cancellation Betting Markets

FlightAware sued Kalshi in a New York federal court on August 11, claiming unauthorized use of its flight data and trademarks for prediction markets on flight cancellations. The company also argues these markets could financially incentivize someone to interfere with flights — a safety argument with no precedent in prediction-market litigation.
