UK Now Requires Digital Travel Pass for Visitors

Starting February 25, 2026, most foreign visitors to the UK—including Americans, Australians, and Europeans—must obtain a digital travel permit before boarding flights. The permit costs £20, lasts six months, and works like a pre-arrival screening. The UK joins the US and Australia in using this system, which completes a modernization effort begun three years ago.
