Legendary Director Removes 1975 Film Over Nude Scene of Child Star
Filmmaker Wim Wenders is withdrawing his 1975 film 'Falsche Bewegung' from release. The actress Nastassja Kinski, who was 13 in the film, has spent years asking for the movie to be pulled because of a topless scene filmed without today's protections. Wenders agreed such a scene would never be made now. The move is unusual—filmmakers rarely remove completed work—and raises questions about old films made under looser ethical standards.
