An engineer in Gaza has developed a way to turn destroyed building debris into interlocking bricks that snap together without mortar—much like plastic blocks. The system bypasses blockades on cement imports. Two-thirds of Gaza's buildings are damaged. The bricks assemble quickly with minimal training and can be taken apart and reused, converting waste into usable material for rebuilding.
