You can now buy Steam games without an account

Valve now lets you buy Steam games without creating an account. Previously, buying a game required signing up. Recipients get their game through an email link or through a friend on Steam. Email gifts only work within the same country. The change helps people buying gifts for others who use Steam, even if the buyer doesn't.
