Former Top Federal Watchdog Lina Khan Gets NYC Economic Post

Mayor Zohran Mamdani picked Lina Khan, who previously led the FTC — the federal agency that enforces rules against unfair business practices — to chair New York City's Economic Development Board. The board sets strategy for an agency controlling over 60 million square feet of city property. Khan, now a Columbia Law School professor, called the role a "deep honor."
