Former FTC Chair Lina Khan Appointed to Lead NYC Economic Development Board

Mayor Zohran Mamdani appointed former FTC Chair Lina Khan to chair New York City's Economic Development Board. Khan, who led the FTC under Biden and now teaches at Columbia Law School, will oversee the board that sets strategy for an agency controlling over 60 million square feet of city property. She called the role a "deep honor."
