You can now play original Xbox games on your computer

Microsoft made four original Xbox games playable on PC starting July 22, 2026. Xbox VP Jason Ronald called it "the beginning of a broader effort to preserve Xbox games from the past and bring them to PC over time." The next Project Helix Xbox console will also run PC games, meaning the line between consoles and computers is fading.
