House Votes to Keep Government Funded Through December 4

The House voted 220-205 on July 21 to keep the government funded at current levels through December 4. Six Democrats joined all Republicans in support. Top Democrats Hakeem Jeffries, Katherine Clark, and Pete Aguilar voted no, saying the bill "fails to block funding for Donald Trump's violent mass deportation machine." The bill now goes to the Senate, which needs 60 votes to pass it.
