Sila, which makes a key battery component for electric vehicles, raised $300 million from investors led by Atreides Management and Sutter Hill Ventures. The money will expand its Moses Lake, Washington factory to supply enough material for over 100,000 EVs. The round follows a 2024 valuation drop from $3.3 billion to roughly $2 billion. Mercedes and Panasonic are customers. Production began September 2025.
