Netherlands to Stop Trading Goods From Israeli Settlements on September 22

The Netherlands approved a law banning trade in goods from Israeli settlements — communities built by Israel on land captured in the Palestinian Territories and Golan Heights. It starts September 22, 2026. Dutch research group Global Echo says the Netherlands handles one third of these farm exports and nearly half sent to the EU. Belgium, Spain, Ireland, and Slovenia did the same; the EU can't agree on a shared ban.
