Willis says no income tax cuts until Budget back in surplus

Finance Minister Nicola Willis says the Government will not cut income tax until it is spending less than it earns, expected in 2028/29. She said balancing the books comes first, then paying down debt, before changing the points where higher tax rates start. She said National will still campaign on an income tax policy.
