LNG Canada approves $30-billion second phase at Kitimat

LNG Canada will build two more production units, called trains, at its Kitimat, B.C. export terminal after Phase 2 final approval on Sept. 28. Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed the $30-billion project in Vancouver on Sept. 29, saying: "The speed of this project shows that now when Canadians want something built, we get it built."
