Housing critic Scott Aitchison to resign Parry Sound–Muskoka seat by year-end

Conservative housing critic Scott Aitchison will resign as MP for Parry Sound–Muskoka, Ontario, by year-end, sources told The Globe and Mail. Aitchison told leader Pierre Poilievre last week. In politics since 1994 and an MP since 2019, Aitchison ran for the Conservative leadership in 2022.
