X2 Spinning Coaster to Retire Permanently at Magic Mountain

Six Flags Magic Mountain will permanently retire X2, its coaster with seats that spin 360 degrees around riders as they ride. The California ride has been closed since July. The park says X2 passed safety tests, but retiring it was 'the right thing to do.'
